White Laced Red Cornish Bantam
ornish bantams were developed by crossing standard Cornish with Black Red Game bantams. W.L.R Cornish bantam chicks have light red heads and backs with two lighter chipmunk streaks. The wings, chest and abdomen are white with a reddish tinge. They have pea combs and clean, yellow legs and feet. The adult plumage is primarily white with red lacing.
W.L.R Cornish Bantams are stocky, low-set birds with a broad chest, muscular build, and tight, glossy feathering. They have a wide head, short beak, and a confident yet gentle temperament. Slow-moving and easy to handle, they are hardy, low maintenance, and well suited for show, breeding, or backyard flocks.
W.L.R Cornish Bantams are bred through selective breeding. Breeders pair healthy, correctly colored birds that best match the breed standard—especially strong body type, clear white lacing, and good temperament. Eggs are collected and either incubated artificially or set under broody hens. Chicks are raised carefully, and as they grow, breeders keep only those showing the best structure, feather pattern, and vigor for future breeding, gradually improving quality over generations.
